- I was born in Finland by the sea, spent some time in Sweden by lake Vattern in my teenage years and later moved to the UK. I came to sunny NZ in 1986 and have loved the place ever since - I'm by the sea again. My ambition is to travel to Spain.
Was it cold growing up in that?

ReplyDeleteIt would have been cold during the snow and the royals had a most amazing long-drop inside the castle.
Huge fireplaces but unless you stood right next to them, there was no warmth.
The gaol in the basement is also worth checking out.
